Sweden says electrification should go faster. Yet conversion is being slowed down where people actually live.
At the same time, huge public resources are being spent on alleviating the cost of fossil fuels - while measures that would increase the pace of electrification are slow.
What does it take to make home charging possible for more people?
And what does a policy look like that really reduces fossil dependence instead of temporarily mitigating the cost of it?
Voices from politics, industry and research

For the first time, ChargeNode invites you to a seminar of its own during Almedalen Week. In the 2030 arena, politicians, industry players and research meet in a conversation about how Sweden is moving from symptom relief to structural measures.
What does it take to make home charging possible for more people, and what does a policy look like that really reduces fossil dependency instead of temporarily mitigating the cost of it?
Welcome to a conversation about the pace of transition, home recharging and political priorities, and about what Sweden actually needs to do to move from crisis action to a long-term direction.

It's not just about climate. At a time of geopolitical turmoil, reduced oil dependence is a security issue. The pace of change determines how vulnerable the transport system is.
If people cannot charge where they live, electrification is effectively slowed down. Especially in apartment blocks and condominium associations - where 18,510 BRFs still lack charging.
Compared to what the state spends annually on fossil subsidies, the measures that allow home recharging are a fraction. The issue isn't resources - it's prioritization.
Continue the conversation in a smaller circle.
Immediately after the seminar, ChargeNode invites you to mingle in the café of the 2030 arena.

The government's proposal for individual charging rights risks creating technical chaos in Sweden's BRFs. ChargeNode explains why collective end-to-end solutions are essential for safe, equitable and sustainable electrification.

Buddy Energy and ChargeNode create an integrated energy solution in Halvorseng Logistics Park. Solar power, energy storage and smart charging make electrified logistics sustainable and profitable.
