This is a simple step-by-step guide showing you how to download our app and register yourself and your vehicle to start charging. If you are already registered and would like help to change your details, please click on the link below.
Tap “Continue with Google,” “Continue with Apple,” or “Continue with Email” — choose the one that works best for you.
If you selected Google or Apple, you will receive a secure pop-up confirming that you want to sign in with your account.
Example: “Do you want to sign in to ChargeNode with your Apple ID?” Press “Continue” to move on — quickly, easily and safely.
Now your available accounts will be displayed. Choose the one you want to use — or tap “Add another account” to use a new one.
To start a charge press select.
Select the area that appears in the list or search for the area name or area code.
If you would rather scan the QR code at the outlet, press the button with the QR code.
Select the outlet where you are parked.
Once you have scanned the QR code, you will automatically proceed to the next step.
Fill in when you are going to leave. We will prioritize your recharge after your departure time.
If you want to stay longer than a day, press Today at pm. and choose the date you are going to go.
This function, to set the departure time, is not currently available for charging boxes. We are working to resolve this shortly. It works fine to charge anyway.
If you do not want to fully charge, you can choose how many kWh you want to charge.
Press Unlimited or use the arrows to select how many kWh you want. Do you choose Unlimited we charge until the car is fully charged or the departure time has passed.
Press the Add payment method button and fill in your
card details. You can pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay, or by adding a debit or credit card.
We save your card details and will withdraw money on the 28th of each month. Once the card is stored, it will appear in the list. Tap the card to select it as the payment method.
The card must be open for internet purchases.
Start charging by pressing Let's go!
Then we will start the charging and you will receive information in the app.
Do you have your own app for the car (e.g. Tesla), you will receive push notifications that the charge is interrupted even though the desired charge is not achieved.
You can ignore this information. If you want status updates on the desired charge, you can find it in the ChargeNodes app.
