Brf Haga Nova installed 72 charging points with ChargeNode's beam solution. A cost-effective and future-proof solution that optimizes efficiency and increases the value of the compound.

Brf Haga Nova installs 72 charging slots from ChargeNode. We had a chat with Andreas Tullberg in Brf Haga Nova to hear how they reasoned in the decision-making process around investing in electric car charging for their association.
“We did a thorough evaluation of a number of different players in the market. We pretty quickly came to the conclusion that ChargeNode was the best solution for us. Their centralized charging system provides effective economies of scale and increased flexibility, and is easy to deploy when needs increase. In addition to software optimizes charging per car based on, among other things, departure time and the number of cars plugged in, it allowed us to install 72 seats without having to upgrade other electricity infrastructure or electricity subscriptions. In terms of all evaluation parameters, ChargeNode was the offer that represented the best payback time for our new charging system but also the system that was visually the most attractive.
“All contacts with ChargeNode have been incredibly smooth, from initial initial contact, procurement, contract writing to installation and deployment. As a customer, we have truly felt that we and our needs have been at the center. We look forward to a long collaboration with ChargeNode.
We chose their Popular beam solution, a railing in recycled aluminium with integrated charging outlets. Inside the beam, all the cable is hidden, which allowed us to avoid expensive installation work. Environmentally friendly in a double sense, which is fully in line with our association's sustainability values.

“We felt that it was economically and installationally advantageous for us to build as large as possible in the first phase and with a system that makes it easy for us to expand with more locations. We see the need for charging points increasing and in this first step we have replaced 26 sites with old technology to 72 locations with ChargeNode's modern and future-proof technology.
-There are many factors that need to be considered for a project like this, including the most obvious ones such as the choice of technical solution, available power and economics. An important thing to consider early on when converting regular parking spaces to charging points is how lease agreements are affected given the notice periods available for both parties. Since we have a garage where there was no mobile coverage, we also needed to solve how the charging would be handled by the users of the charging points in a simple way. Our solution was to install a wi-fi in the garage, which also contributed to increased security for all residents and tenants who visit the garage.
Brf The Hague Nova was completed in 2018 and is the first newly built residential building in Hagastaden. Within the property are 276 apartments, two kindergartens, commercial premises and garages with a total of 175 places. The building was designed by Vera Arkitekter AB and was nominated for Stockholm Building of the Year 2019.
ChargeNode was founded in 2018 with the conviction that new technological solutions with smarter resource utilization are required to solve today's challenges of large-scale electrification. Today, the company is a fast-growing greentech company based in Gothenburg. The company offers smart charging systems for large-scale electric vehicle charging based on proprietary and patent-pending charging technology. By centralizing charging technology, charging can be distributed to more parking locations without the need for a separate charger at each parking location. With smart steering, e.g. at departure time, cars with short parking time can be charged first and then those that need to stand longer. Everyone gets the charge that they desire. Customers include real estate companies, condominium associations, hotels and destinations, some of which are ESS Hotell, Varberg Energi, Bygg-Göta, PGA Sweden International and Kvdbil.
