Skandia Fasiliteit invests in smart charging infrastructure with ChargeNode

Skandia Fasiliteit has installed 119 charging points in Sundbyberg with ChargeNode's smart system. The initiative meets the growing demand for electric car charging and strengthens the sustainability profile of the properties.

When Skandia Fasiliteit was going to expand the charging infrastructure in its properties Kopparand Fabriksgårdarna in Sundbyberg, the choice fell on ChargeNode. A total of 88 charging points have been installed outdoors and 42 indoors, creating an extensive charging network for both office tenants and the general public.

Smart technology and simple app
The choice of ChargeNode was based on several factors that appeal to a modern property owner. In addition to the technical solution, Skandia Fasiliteit also appreciated the user-friendly app and the clear customer portal for property management.

“We appreciated the centralized charging technology, where electricity is distributed smartly between several outlets. It makes it possible to achieve a smooth and efficient control of the flow of electricity. The fact that the system is easy to expand if necessary also makes it a sustainable choice in the long term,” says Julia Envall, manager at Skandia FasTIGHETER.

Hassle-free use
The installation has been successful and the operation smooth. The response from tenants has been positive, and few questions or problems have been noticed, which Julia Envall interprets as a sign that the system is working well. In addition, ChargeNode's clear user guides have reduced administration for the property owner.

The initiative reflects Skandia Real Estate's sustainability ambitions and their motto “room for more”. By offering charging facilities, it contributes to the electrification of transport and makes properties more attractive to environmentally conscious tenants.

“We see that the need is increasing all the time as more and more renters acquire electric and hybrid cars. We strive to match the need,” says Julia Envall, manager at Skandia Fastigheter.

ChargeNode, which today is Sweden's largest charging operator in large-scale electric car charging, continues to expand its presence in properties around Sweden. The project in Sundbyberg shows how property owners can meet the growing demand for charging infrastructure with smart technology.
