OKQ8 partners with ChargeNode to offer smart charging solutions where multiple cars share a central charging unit. Efficient, reliable and cost-saving electric vehicle charging.

OKQ8 will offer the Swedish greentech company ChargeNode's unique charging solution, which involves several cars sharing on a central charging unit, within the framework of the offer to companies, housing associations and other property owners. The technology saves both time and money because ChargeNode's own software and optimization algorithm making sure all plugged cars get the right charge at the right time.
“We are constantly working to develop our services to make it as smooth and easy as possible for members and customers. The collaboration with ChargeNode means that we can offer efficient and reliable systems when many people are charging simultaneously on the same network, which is something that both we and our customers have demanded,” says Karin Hellgren, Head of Communications at OKQ8.
ChargeNode's solution involves multiple cars sharing a central charging unit where multiple charging outlets are connected to a single unit instead of each car connecting to its own charger. At the same time, the expensive and sensitive electrical components are protected in a robust charging center, which ensures safe operation and long durability. ChargeNode has also developed its own software and optimization algorithm that ensures that all connected cars get the correct charge. The owner controls the system easily through an app and the same app is used by the car owner who is going to charge their car.
“We are very proud that OKQ8 has chosen us as a partner. They have one of the broadest offerings on the market in electric car charging, energy storage and photovoltaics. We are confident that our unique solution will perfectly complement OKQ8's offering and add value to customers,” says Kristian Sandahl, ChargeNode.
