GreenStop is opening a charging station with eight fast chargers in Klevshult along the E4. ChargeNode's platform makes charging and paying easy for heavy transport and passenger cars.

An important hub for electrified freight is now being established GreenStop opens a charging station with eight fast chargers in Klevshult along the E4. Charging and payment is via ChargeNode for simplicity and accessibility.
Klevshult, on the E4 just north of Värnamo, is a truck stop and an important location for the transport of goods by truck. According to the Swedish Transport Administration, 7000 vehicles pass here per day, and a large amount of transport passes between the logistics centre Jönköping and the border crossings in the south — the Öresund Bridge and the ports of Helsingborg, Trelleborg and Ystad.
The charging station in Klevshult will have eight superchargers, DC chargers with a total power of 1.6 MW. The charging stations are water-cooled to allow the highest charging speed.
“To succeed in the circular transformation of the transport industry, a well-developed infrastructure with charging stations along Sweden's important transport routes is required. That's why we at ChargeNode are proud to be part of Greenstop establishing its first charging station,” says Niklas Berg, business developer and co-founder of ChargeNode.
The plant will be tested and put into operation in September and in early October it will be time for opening. The eight chargers are controlled using ChargeNode's platform for smooth payment and an efficient user experience.
“We hope to offer value for both long-distance and long-distance transport. Trucks, buses and passenger cars — all are welcome to charge. If there is a need to expand with more locations, we will do it,” says Otto Wernesskog, CEO and founder of GreenStop, a developer of infrastructure — from sustainable energy production to fossil-free solutions for vehicles.
