When will the money for my charge be deducted?

We will deduct the money from your registered card on the 28th of each month for all recharges made during the period. In the case of a one-time payment via QR code, the amount will be deducted directly.

Help - the charging cable is stuck! What do I do?

Do not tear the cable. Try this: 1. Unlock the car and loosen the cable there first. 2. Make sure charging is complete in the app. 3. Press the cable firmly into the box, then pull it out firmly. 4. Lock and unlock the car again.

Is parking included when I charge?

No, charging and parking are usually separate services. Always check the signage in place. At some facilities, we partner with EasyPark so you can pay both in the same app.

Why is an amount reserved on my card?

When you start a charge, sometimes a reservation is made (e.g. $200) to verify that the card is valid and has coverage. This is not an expense and the amount is normally released within 1-3 banking days.

Is it cheaper to charge with ChargeNode compared to petrol/diesel?

Generally, the fuel cost of electricity is significantly lower per mile compared to gasoline or diesel. The exact saving depends on the consumption of your car and the current electricity price at the plant.

Do I have to have a smartphone to charge?

No, if you have a registered RFID tag, you can start and stop charging by flashing the tag on the charging box, provided that you have previously inserted a debit card into the system.

What does it cost to charge?

The price is determined by the facility owner (e.g. your landlord, BRF or parking company). You will always see the current price per kWh in the app when you click on a charging location.

Can I charge my Tesla, Polestar or Volvo with ChargeNode?

Yes, ChargeNode supports all electric cars and charging hybrids with Type 2 socket, which is European standard (including Tesla, Polestar, Volvo, VW, Kia and others).

Where can I find the nearest Chargenode charger?

In the app there is a map showing all public charging stations. You can also see semi-public establishments near you as well as private establishments where you are registered as a member. We are also searchable via Google Maps and ChargeFinder.

How do I get started with ChargeNode?

Download the ChargeNode app via App Store or Google Play. Create an account, verify your email and register a debit card. After that, you are ready to start charging.

Do I have to use the app to charge?

The app gives you the best control and history, but many of our stations also support RFID tags. On public chargers, you can often use direct payment via QR code without creating an account.

What is Type 2 socket?

The Type 2 socket is a European standard for electric car charging.
All rechargeable cars on the market can use the Type 2 socket.
