Stora Sjöfallets Samommunity naturally chooses ChargeNode

As more and more people are acquiring electric cars, Stora Sjöfallets Samfälförening in Norra Djurgården realized that it was high time to install more charging outlets for electric cars. After a careful inventory of the market, the choice fell on ChargeNode. Very much due to the fact that it is a simple, agile and cost-effective solution.

When the Stora Sjöfallets Samfälnosti association decided to invest heavily in a modern solution for charging electric cars, there were not so many members of the association who charged their cars. However, quite soon after the fifteen old charging boxes had been taken down and replaced with ChargeNode's solution, usage increased considerably. Almost thirty places are already being used every month. It's 25 per cent occupancy and really good.

Before deciding on a supplier, the association conducted a survey among its members and half planned to acquire an electric car within three years. In preparation for the procurement of electric car charging, a comprehensive basis was prepared, its needs were taken into account and, of course, also checked references.

There were a series of criteria that ruled in ChargeNode's favor. The costs of course, there are no fixed fees and with a long service life the total cost will be lower. Simplicity is just as important. Administration is minimal for the association, it is also easy to manage payments. It's just as easy for those who charge their car, the app is clean and you don't have to think about getting a special charging point. Other benefits include remote monitoring, remote control and a dynamic, smart load balancing. In addition, the installation is stylish and appealing.

The garage is shared between Wallenstam, which has the most spaces, and three BRF's who all removed their old charging boxes of different makes and installed 117 charging outlets from ChargeNode, one in each parking space. With so many charging points at the same time, the garage has been given a clear environmental profile.

Samfälförening Stora Sjöfalle is located in Norra Djurgården, a community and a garage owned by Wallenstam and three different associations and formed in 2014. The housing association consists of two housing units completed in 2016 with a total of 64 apartments and two premises.
